Released in Japan in 1999, Mario Party 2 is the second entry in Nintendo’s much-loved party game series. Players compete across themed boards, collecting coins and Stars while battling it out in a huge selection of mini-games.

Each board has its own theme, with Mario and friends taking on different costumes to match the setting. Whether you’re exploring the Wild West, sailing through Pirate Land or venturing into the spooky Horror Land, the goal remains the same: collect the most Stars and leave your friends behind.

With six adventure boards, more than 60 mini-games and support for up to four players, Mario Party 2 is one of the quintessential multiplayer experiences on Nintendo 64.

The Japanese version was released in December 1999 and features the original Japanese title, menus and text. It arrived several months before the Australian release, making this a great way to experience the original Japanese version of one of the N64’s most popular party games.
