Doraemon: Nobita to Mittsu no Seireiseki (1997) – Nintendo 64 (Japanese Exclusive) – Cartridge Only

Step into the world of one of Japan’s most beloved characters with Doraemon: Nobita to Mittsu no Seireiseki, a Japanese-exclusive 3D adventure for the Nintendo 64.

Released in Japan in 1997, Doraemon: Nobita to Mittsu no Seireiseki — roughly translated as Doraemon: Nobita and the Three Fairy Spirit Stones — is a colourful action-platformer starring Doraemon and his friends.

When three sacred spirit stones are shattered and a powerful demon threatens the Fairy World, Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo and Gian set out to recover the missing pieces and save the day. Players can switch between the different characters, each with their own abilities and play styles, as they explore a series of colourful 3D environments.

Doraemon can also collect and use gadgets throughout the adventure, including tools that allow him to explore underwater areas and reach otherwise inaccessible locations. The game combines traditional 3D platforming with character-specific abilities, gadgets and a variety of unusual challenges.

Released exclusively in Japan, this was the first of three Doraemon games made for the Nintendo 64, making it a particularly interesting piece of the console’s Japanese library.

The Japanese version features Japanese text and menus. Please note that an understanding of Japanese will be required to get the most out of the story and gameplay instructions.

Please note: this is a Japanese NTSC-J cartridge and requires compatible Japanese or region-compatible Nintendo 64 hardware to play.

A wonderfully colourful and distinctly Japanese piece of Nintendo 64 history — perfect for Doraemon fans, N64 collectors and anyone who enjoys discovering games that never made it outside Japan.
