Mario Party 3 (2000) – Nintendo 64 (Japanese Version) – Cartridge Only

Get the party started with Mario Party 3, the final entry in the original Mario Party trilogy for the Nintendo 64.

Released in Japan in 2000, Mario Party 3 brings Mario and friends together for another round of board-game chaos, packed with 70 all-new mini-games, competitive boards and plenty of opportunities to sabotage your friends on the way to becoming the Super Star.

This third entry introduced several new features to the series, including Duel Boards, where players compete head-to-head with partners, as well as the first solo story mode in the series. Players can also carry up to three items at once, adding a little more strategy to the classic Mario Party formula.

The Japanese version is particularly interesting for Nintendo 64 collectors, as it was released almost a year before the Western versions and represents the original Japanese release of one of the N64’s most popular multiplayer games.

This is the Japanese NTSC-J version and features Japanese text and menus. Please note that an understanding of Japanese may be required to get the most out of the game.

With support for up to four players, Mario Party 3 is a fantastic choice for multiplayer sessions and an essential addition to any Nintendo 64 collection.
